Adults with developmental disabilities practice their gardening skills in this weekday social horticulture program. Learn to germinate, grow and harvest flowers, vegetables and herbs in a group setting and take home your crop at the end of the season! Goals: Increase fine motor functioning, improve social skills and understanding of gardening practices. Participant's caregiver must remain on site. Please do not arrive at programs more than five minutes before the start of the program. Be ready to leave as soon as the program is over. Supervision is not provided before the scheduled start time. Excessive early drop-offs and late pick-ups may result in being dropped from the program.
