Description
Howard County Recreation and Parks offers Competitive youth 7 on 7 touch football league. Registration is by teams only. Age groups are 10U,11U,12U,13U,15U. Age determination is August 1, 2020. Max roster size is 15 players. Games are Saturdays at East Columbia Library fields and run for 6 weeks including playoffs unless notified different. There will be awards for champions. League rules will be sent to Team coach upon registration. There will be special Covid rules in place that must be followed by everyone such as only parents are allowed to attend games, warmup procedures and arrival/departure policies. HCRP field policies are mandatory including 6ft distancing and mask policies. Also note this is a Howard County Recreation and Parks program all coaches must be approved members of the HCRP coaches registry which includes a background check and completion of coaching courses before they can coach in the league. Details and required waiver and roster forms will be sent to team coaches. Forms required prior to first game. Teams provide their own uniform, and balls. Teams will pay refs on the field each game.
