USA Triathlon Race Director Summit is a great opportunity for race directors to meet and network with peers across the country, engage with the USA Triathlon staff, and become informed on various issues and trends facing the multisport industry. Registration includes the Friday Night Reception presented by Active. Additional tickets to the Reception can be purchased during the registration process.
USA Triathlon Race Director Certification is a 16-hour education course that generally takes place over two days. The culmination is the awarding of certificates to race directors who successfully complete the course requirements. This course will address the latest in race directing methods, insurance/risk management trends, and USAT sanctioning compliance. While the certification course is not mandatory for race directors who sanction their events with USA Triathlon, the program is extremely valuable to both new and seasoned event directors.

Event details and schedule
Race Director Summit:
A detailed schedule is available on the USA Triathlon website. Packet pickup for the summit will take place on Friday, February 23rd from 3pm-5pm and Saturday morning, February 24th from 7am-8:30am. The conference will be held at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center from February 24-25, 2018. Race directors will receive 8 CEUs for attending the summit. Race Director Certification:
This class will begin at 9am and end at 5pm on Thursday, February 22nd, and begin at 8am and end at 5pm on Friday, February 23rd. Please make travel arrangements accordingly. Certification will take place at the USA Triathlon National Office.
