About this event
Prereq: Youth must be level II or higher, and adults must have taken at least two forging classes. We will take 120+ year-old wrought iron, forge weld pieces into a hammer body, and forge weld 4140 steel to the front and back face to make striking surfaces for the hammer. From there, we forge out a rounding or cross-peen hammer -- your choice. We will carve down hickory handles and complete your finished hammer.
