About This Activity

The Glendalough trail run is now in its seventh year. The main race will be 15.5km long and the short event is 8.6km route for joggers/ walkers.

The route is totally free of traffic and mainly on good quality forest trails

On the 15.5km route there is approximately 800m of very mucky trail with lots of fallen tree branches to cross and there is a significant amount of elevation gain & loss.

The 8.6km event  is a non-competitive one aimed at walkers and slow joggers and is generally on good walking trails but it again has a significant amount (250+m) of elevation gain / loss.

This is a friendly race with some challenging terrain held in an area of spectacular scenery.
