This class aims to introduce tools to take on situations as a performer – “Deepening our Connection to Chemistry” and “Exploring Intimate Kinesphere.” Deepening our Connection to Chemistry: Technical and imagination-based exercises to create on-stage connections to acting partners in various scripted relationships (romantic, platonic, familial). Exploring Intimate Kinesphere: an exercise on how to create a full kinesphere and a discussion of how to use kinesphere to communicate your character’s level of comfortability and consent Find out how best to introduce these topics, overcome obstacles in a safe and respectable manner, and follow a roadmap that leads to the successful creation of dynamic, intimate moments made sustainable by the collaboration of all parties involved.
