About this event
At BrandywineBOTS, our mission is to empower the next generation of innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders through hands-on experience with robotics and technology. We believe that every student, regardless of background or circumstance, deserves access to opportunities that can unlock their full potential. Our PARTIAL YEAR elementary & middle school teams compete in the "VEX IQ Competition" in a 6-month season typically beginning in October, and ending the following March. The VEX IQ Competition, presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, provides elementary and middle school students with exciting, open-ended robotics challenges that enhance their science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) skills through hands-on, student-centered learning. The VEX IQ Competition fosters student development of the teamwork, critical thinking, project management, and communication skills required to prepare them to become the next generation of innovators and problem solvers.
