Learn correct postural alignment and functional muscle/body awareness through a series of mat work based on the Pilates method of exercise. This class is designed to rehabilitate, reconstruct, and restore the natural curves of the spine and the pelvis. Students who take and repeat this course will transform the way they feel and move. Focus will be on floor mat work and will be conducted in standing, seated, and constructive rest positions. Instructor will offer modifications and/or advanced variations of all movements. Please bring a pilates/yoga mat, towel and water to class.
