Ages: 3 - 5 years
Music Masters I is an imaginative class that introduces children to basic music literacy, using singing and dancing, percussion instruments and a and a broad range of musical activities from American and World traditions. Students will learn the components of music-timbre, rhythm, pitch and beat - through multi-disciplinary teaching that incorporates art, movement and literacy. A focus on matching pitch and other basic singing skills prepares students for long-term success in their musical lives. Both students and parents/caregivers are actively involved in this class. Students must be at least 3 years old by September 26, 2016 to participate.
Classes meet once per week (10 weeks)
Parent/Caregiver Attendance Required.
