Description
Morning walks held on trails in Chesterfield County Parks. Get fit, enjoy the outdoors, and meet adults who share the same interest. The organized walks are led by Parks and Recreation 50+ Active Lifestyles staff, weather permitting. For weather related cancellation message, call 804-751-4753.
This is an on-going program and you can register anytime during the season. Please register in advance.
First and third Monday, 9-10 a.m. (Not held June 20, July 4)
May 2 - Rockwood Park Nature Center (1.5 miles), 3401 Courthouse Road. Meet in front of Rockwood Nature Center.
May 16 - Huguenot Park (2.3 miles), 10901 Robious Road North (entrance). Meet at the playground.
June 6 - Harry G. Daniel Park at Iron Bridge (2.1 miles), 6600 Whitepine Road. Meet at the playground.
July 18 - Mid-Lothian Mines Parks (1.6 miles), 13301 North Woolridge Road. Meet at parking lot 1.
Aug. 1 - Government Center Trail System (1.4 miles), 9501 Lucy Corr Circle. Meet at the trail sign behind the Smith-Wagner Building.
Aug. 15 - Robious Landing Park (Loop Trail 1.5 miles), 3800 James River Road. Meet at Shelter 2.
