For teens to adults, 12 and up, with disabilities. This Zumba class is open to participants of any skill or fitness level. Led by a licensed Zumba instructor, you can dance your way to good health and fitness. COVID19 recommendations and guidelines will be followed during this program - please bring a mask. Program will be held OUTDOORS at Dorothy Waddy Pavillion (3132 Manchester Drive) in November, and will transition to a virtual format in December. A yearly therapeutic recreation assessment is required for registration. If the error "Missing PreRequisite: Customer qualification missing or expired for Skill TIRS Assessment Verified" appears when attempting to register, please contact staff at TIRS at TRinfo@MeckNC.Gov or 980-314-1192 to schedule a therapeutic recreation assessment. This program will be held at Dorothy Waddy Pavillion (3132 Manchester Drive) - Participants need to wear clothing they can move, jump, bend, and sweat in as well as athletic shoes. Please arrive early for extended check-in procedures. Due to COVID-19, certain precautions and guidelines will be followed to increase participant safety. We are practicing social distancing and ask that all ages wear a mask. There will be no class on Thanksgiving Day (November 26th), and class will transition to a virtual format in December.
