Description
Come on an adventure as we enjoy the sights of September on the confluence of the Des Plaines and DuPage rivers. You’ll be guided by certified kayak instructors on this relaxing paddle, and we will hopefully catch a glimpse of some migrating birds! This program will take place on a slow-moving river. Wear shoes and clothes that can get wet, and don’t forget your sunscreen, sunglasses and a water bottle. All equipment is provided. Previous kayaking experience is required.
The natural surface launch area is accessible by a paved trail from the parking lot.
Ages 12 or older. (Participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult).
