Experience sunset and sunrise at the most popular section of the Grand Canyon, the South Rim. This two-day excursion is a chance to enjoy the best overlooks in the park, hike easy trails, and visit the park museum exhibits. After a day of exploring, rest your head at the historic Bright Angel Lodge. Travelers may bring or purchase their own food. Rates are based on double occupancy in the lodge rooms, but individual rooms may be reserved for an additional cost.
Lodging Description: The lodging at bright angel lodge is best described as RUSTIC. The rooms are comfortable and clean but do not have all of the amenities you may be used to such as a TV or coffee maker. Most of the rooms have what is called a "shared private bathroom" which means the bathroom is accessed from the hallway rather than from inside your own room. Once inside the bathroom you have it all to yourself. The great part is that this hotel is inside the national park! It only takes a few minutes to walk over to the canyon rim!
Additional charge for your own hotel room is as follows: Resident: $68 Non-Resident: $92 These extra charges help cover to cost of the whole room rather than sharing the expense with someone else. A few of our rooms have two beds inside. If you are sharing a room but would like two beds, please indicate that when you add the name of you roommate.
