About this event
This series is a process-based art experience using nature for inspiration. Explore several topics, including en plein air, print-making, land art and pottery. Several small-group adult and family classes are offered bi-monthly with a different topic covered each month. Walk away with a hands-on appreciation and basic techniques of each art form. Create an ephemeral piece of “land art” inspired by and representative of the local environment using only found, natural objects and elements. In this process-based workshop, receive context for land art's cultural and historical significance and guidance for your unique creative process.
