The 10km is a flat rural route along quiet fen droves, bridleways and grassy footpaths. A 4 mile fun run suitable for children and families follows part of the same course. There are plenty of marshals and water stations provided along both routes. Both runs are chipped timed and all finishers receive a medal and a goody bag with plenty of category winners.
The 10K and the 4 mile races will have staggered starts, and runners follow the same initial route for the first 3km or so, before splitting at a signed and marshalled junction and rejoining for the final 1.5km.
At the finish there is a BBQ, real ale bar, children’s drinks, teas and ice cream and family amusements. There is plenty of parking, ample toilets, showers and bag drop.
