Description

We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Thursday, January 16, 2020.

For first time students - This is the ideal next step after completion of either the Beginner Basics or Puppy Basic Class! We will introduce new behaviors, heel, go to bed, wait, stand and stand-stay as well as 'proof' several basic obedience behaviors such as "stay" and "come" with emphasis on heavy distractions.

In addition, you will learn new ways to illicit novel behaviors from your pet including CAPTURING and SHAPING. Utilizing tricks to facilitate learning these methods, you and your dog will work as a team, improving the ability to read and anticipate each other. The speed at which your dog will learn new behaviors will increase dramatically!

**No class 11/28 & 12/26

Courtyard next to Auditorium
