What's Included

In this mini camp, scientists explore the fundamental principles of mechanics and motion. During our program we will be studying simple machines and then using what we learned to build pendulums, boats and planes. We will use simple tools to dismantle and reassemble objects, make rocket cars to take out for a spin and measure distances our creations travel. Scientists will work together to construct marble roller coasters and then analyze and redesign the runs for optimal efficiency. Finally, scientists will brainstorm ideas and draft designs for an egg drop and test them out during our construction challenge!

About This Organizer

At The Tiny Scientist we know exactly what it’s like to want to explore bugs, build robots and ask millions of questions - all at the same time!  Our mission is to bring out the inner scientist in your child.  During our hands-on AND minds-on classes, children will develop an understanding of scientific principles, build vocabulary, work together with other scientists and engage in scientific discussion.  Your tiny scientists will laugh, learn, question, explore, get messy and foster a lifelong love of learning by experiencing first-hand that science is FUN!
