October 06 - 27, 2019
505 Carroll St
DATES: 10/6, 10/13, 10/20, 10/27 Instructor: Cate McLaughlin In this class, students will learn the essential skills of sewing: how to use a sewing machine, basic pattern reading and sewing construction while creating a simple project, such as a fully lined tote or a simple A line tank top or dress. -- Our classes are designed to focus on a learned skill rather than a final product. At TAC, our mission is to provide skills and knowledge for a lifetime! All materials for sample making and learning the technique are included. Any additional materials will need to be supplied by the student based on their vision. 4-week students have access to Open Studio time for free during the month of class and for up to a week after the class to put their new knowledge to practice.
