Instructor: Cate McLaughlin In this two-day class, you will learn the basic skills of quilting, such as cutting, piecing, pinning, how to make binding, and different methods of connecting quilting layers. Students will create their own small pieced and/or wholecloth quilt where you can experiment with different quilting techniques. Pre-requisite: Intro to Sewing / Sewing 101, or equivalent sewing experience. -- All materials for sample making and learning the technique are included. Any additional materials will need to be supplied by the student based on their vision. This class doesn't include access to free Open Studio. The Morning Series are short in-depth classes, focused on techniques and projects that students can easily continue exploring on their own, at their home (studio).
