Instructor: Whitney Crutchfield Want to make some room in your closet for more clothes? Turn your old clothes into new artistic rugs. In this workshop, students will learn the basic crochet stitches and how to transform old clothes and fabric into yarn. Students will start working on a small crochet rug using the "yarn" made in class. -- Our classes are designed to focus on a learned skill rather than a final product. At TAC, our mission is to provide skills and knowledge for a lifetime! All materials for sample making and learning the technique are included. Any additional materials will need to be supplied by the student based on their vision. The Evening Series are short in-depth classes, focused on techniques and projects that students can easily continue exploring on their own, at their home (studio). For this class, students have access to Open Studio time for free for up to a week after the class, to put their new knowledge to practice.
