The last day for Internet Registration was Jun 24, 2020 11:59 PM.
This program is for children entering TK or Kindergarten through those entering 6th grade. The program will follow all of San Mateo County's COVID-19 childcare safety guidelines. 1. Per the County Health Order dated 5/15/2020, childcare programs must be carried out in stable groups of 12 or fewer children (“stable” means that the same 12 or fewer children are in the same group each day and for at least four consecutive weeks). Our summer childcare program will operate as a 5-week session spanning from July 6-August 7. 2. Per the County Health Order dated 5/15/2020, children shall not change from one group to another or attend more than one childcare establishment, summer camp, other educational or recreational instruction or program simultaneously. If your child is enrolled in our program, they must be exclusively enrolled and not actively participating in any other in-person program. Furthermore, participants living in the same household will be assigned to the same site. 3. Per the County Health Order dated 5/15/2020, providers, educators and other staff cannot serve more than one group of children and shall remain solely with that group of children for the duration of the program. 4. Participants will be assigned to a childcare site based on staff’s knowledge of registered participants. If a participant is unknown to the program Supervisor, more information about the child may be requested before assigning them to a site in order to determine the best fit. Special requests for site assignments or participant pairings will not be accepted. 5. Upon arrival, participants and staff will be required to receive a health screening, which will include taking their temperature with a non-contact thermometer. Participants must not have a temperature in excess of 100°F, and will be asked to affirm that they do not have any of the symptoms that the CDC has deemed to be indicators of COVID-19. 6. No one may enter the indoor premises of our programs except for assigned staff and participants who have been cleared through their daily health screening. 7. There will be regular cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing of all surfaces and supplies. Participants and staff will be required to properly wash their hands with soap and water and use hand sanitizer throughout the day. 8. Program staff will wear face masks at all times. Masks for youth are recommended for use indoors but are not required per the current health order. 9. There will be no off-site excursions, including swimming and field trips. 10. All participants will be assigned a personal supply box. These boxes will contain basic supplies, tools, and otherwise to be used exclusively by that individual. If you have additional questions prior to registering your child for this year’s summer program, please call 415.519.9588 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
