Every corner of the planet experiences different environmental conditions, harbors a unique assemblage of flora and fauna, and exists in a particular political geography. It is the combination of these factors that informs proper management and conservation of this place. The Master Naturalist Program is designed to familiarize adults with the ecosystem of the northern greater Yellowstone area and through this practice become more ecologically informed citizens. In order to arrive there, participants will cultivate naturalist skills through journaling, develop knowledge of local natural history, interpret the landscape, and ultimately combine these perspectives and skills through environmentally conscious citizenry
