Join us for an intimate cooking class led by Chef Fernanda Tapia, where participants will immerse themselves in rich traditions of French cuisine while exploring how classic dishes have been elevated for modern palates.

Guests will embark on a sophisticated culinary journey celebrating the art of French technique infused with the rich flavors of New England and South America. Under the guidance of Chef Fernanda Tapia, you’ll explore the intricacies of preparing a festive Chicken Galantine - a timeless French dish that transforms humble ingredients into a masterpiece of flavor and craftsmanship. Originally from Chile, Chef Tapia grew up surrounded by vibrant home-cooked flavors before pursuing her culinary passion in college. After training under the legendary Jacques Pépin and working alongside some of Boston’s most celebrated chefs, she rose to become chef de cuisine, earned Zagat’s “Top 30 Under 30.”
In this immersive, hands-on class, Chef Tapia will demonstrate the elegant process of deboning a chicken, crafting a flavorful seasonal filling, and mastering the art of stuffing and trussing the bird—skills that epitomize both precision and creativity. Guests will then join in to prepare the galantine themselves, complemented by a vegetable side dish that highlights the region’s freshest winter produce.
To conclude the evening, enjoy the beautifully prepared meal in an intimate setting, paired with select wines and shared conversation. This refined culinary experience brings together the artistry of French tradition, the spirit of New England seasonality, and the passion of one of Boston’s most dynamic chefs.
