Welcome to CyMan! The CyMan Triathlon is THE event for triathletes of all ages and abilities to compete with one another in beautiful Central Iowa. Taking place in Bondurant Iowa, the CyMan starts at Lake Petoka. The swim is one lap around for Sprint distance and two laps for Olympic. The bike portion of the race is held on paved roadways and manned by event staff as well as local police to ensure a safe and fun ride. The run covers a portion of the Chichaqua Valley Trail and ends with a lap around Lake Petoka for a scenic and exciting finish. All participants will receive a CyMan waterbottle and T-Shirt with their registration. No shirts will be garaunteed after the first of September. Medals will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each age division for both the sprint and olympic distances. We hope to see everyone have a great race!
Hey everyone! We hope you are getting as excited about the CyMan race as we are! With the day drawing ever closer some more information is being added for your benefit. A new Facebook site has been added to allow for better communication between the event staff and the athletes. This includes the updated race course maps! Also, as an event we are now working towards Para friendly certification to allow for even more people to enjoy this great event. Stay tuned for an updated registration layout to accomodate this portion of the event.
Enjoy your summer and see you in transition!!
