Gentle Hatha and Mediatation is a one hour class that explores the integral connection of mind and body. The class begins with a slow, gentle physical Hatha Yoga sequence. In this way, participants will open and align the body in preparation for mediation. The meditation will introduce practices desgned to calm the mind, gentle the breath and develop awareness of mind body connection. Guided imagery, mudras, mantras, music, and breathing techniques are all explored to introduce students to the benefits of reducing stress and increase clarity.
Materials: large towel or blanket
Optional: small cushion or pillow
