Too many of us have been affected by various forms of cancer. Cancer doesn't just damage the body, it devastates families and friends. Often, the financial burden of mounting medical expenses are accompanied by loss of income when the patient and caregiver are no longer able to work away from the home.
Andy Nichols and his family are suffering this tragedy right now. In May of 2014, Andy was diagnosed with grade 4 Glioblastoma, a very aggressive form of brain cancer. As a lifelong resident of Calhoun County, Andy feels blessed to have the support and encouragement of his family, friends, and the community. Please join Poplar Head Baptist Church as they host a benefit 5K and Fun Run to help Andy and his family as they battle cancer.
