Description
We are partnering with our friends at Scuba Adventures QCA to offer their “Try Scuba” program! The SSI Try Scuba program is the best way to try scuba diving for the first time. You will be in confined water and well looked after by your instructor, so you can enjoy those first unforgettable breaths underwater and experience the magic of scuba diving. At the end of this short course, you will have earned your SSI Try Scuba recognition card and undoubtedly want to go diving again. Endless scuba diving adventures are waiting for you, and this course is where it all begins. Start today!
Participants will meet at Scuba Adventures QCA at 7:30am to go over paperwork, watch an introductory video, and size for your equipment. From there, participants will head to Bettendorf High School to use their indoor pool from 8:30am–11:30am. See details above for addresses to both locations.
Parents/guardians must remain with anyone under the age of 18 for the full duration of the class. They aren’t expected to supervise them in the water, nor are parents expected to get into the water with their child. There will be a trained professional on deck during the water experience as well as a trained professional in the water.
Registrants will need to use their own form of transportation to get to Bettendorf High School.
No equipment is required. Scuba Adventures will provide the necessary equipment needed for the class.
