What's Included

This program is the same concept as the June Dangerous Book For Boys (and Girls) camp, but with different activities, a smaller group size, and with the added mobility of bicycles. The Dangerous Book For Boys is the title of the book which will be our guide for this week of discovery. The book describes over 100 activities and tidbits that all boys and girls should experience and understand in their childhood. Each day will include activities from the book, and from my own list of “most successful activities”, relating to art and design, physical fitness, problem solving, strategy games, science exploration, story telling and nature study. We will meet at Arbaney Park each day with bikes and helmets so that we can explore some of Basalt’s best parks and open spaces throughout the week. We will meet Monday through Thursday from 9:30-3:30 and Friday 9:30-1:30 Bring: Bike, helmet, sun hat, sunglasses, water, rain jacket, snack, lunch Provided: Journals, project supplies, craft materials, games, and everything else.
