Scott graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's degree in Electronic News Journalism in 2010. After graduating, he was hired as Digital Content Coordinator for FC Dallas of Major League Soccer. Scott was promoted to Managing Editor of Digital Properites for the club in 2013 and named Major League Soccer Local Digital Editor of the Year in 2014 before joining Active.com.
Scott remains a fan of FC Dallas and all Dallas sports teams, especially the Dallas Stars. He enjoys kayaking, reading and spending time with his wife and three dogs.
