About this event
Da Vinci, Rembrandt, Vermeer, and Renoir all painted from live models.This class provides a great opportunity for you to do the same. The live costumed models will challenge and test your your artistic skills. You’ll learn the essential elements that go into a successful painting. Emphasis will be given to the development of the figure in a composition. You will discover why any successful painting is a result of the organization of a visual language -- line, form, value, shape,pattern, and texture -- in an arrangement of an area. Individual guidance is tailored to the medium and the student. Students may work in the medium of their choice (watercolor, acrylic, pencil / charcoal, or oil). *Model fee included intuition
