Walk to End Hunger!
We invite everyone to come together to offer hope to hungry people and support the Cayuga County Food Provider Network's community approach to end hunger.
Money raised from this Walk will be distributed through Food Bank of Central New York to participating Cayuga County Food Providers who distribute nutritious food to people of all ages and walks of life.
Event details and schedule
There will be three routes available to walk along Owasco Lake:
- The trail at Ward O'Hara Agricultural Museum
-The Pier at Emerson Park
- The Dog Park with your four-legged friend on the west side of Emerson Park.
So come out and support our anti-hunger efforts!

Registration opens at 8:30 am
Walk takes place from 9 am - 11 am
Wear your sneakers and comfortable clothes to walk or run in.
All walkers (or parent/guardian if walker is under 18) must sign below. Signature indicates acceptance of the following waiver: In consideration of being permitted to participate in the 2016 Walk to End Hunger, I hereby waive any and all claims for damages I may have against The Cayuga County Food Providers Network, Food Bank of Central New York and Cayuga County, or any individuals associated with the above, for any and all injuries or damages of any kind claimed suffered by me as a result of taking part in this event or any related activities. I state that I am physically fit to participate in this event.
