Even if you aren’t good at drawing you can create interesting narratives in your clay. Using mishima techniques students will learn to draw repeatable images into their ceramic work. Students should have some experience with working with clay but it is not absolutely necessary. No drawing experience is needed. Students should bring pre-made, leather hard, smooth pots and/or tiles plus some original photos and/or drawings. Each student also needs a sketching pen set, similar to the set found here: https://www.michaels.com/speedball-sketching-pen-set/10122920.html There will be a 30 minute lunch break.
