About this event
This course introduces students to mixed media art through the various styles and methods of contemporary and historic mixed media artists. Students will be encouraged to combine the use of familiar and unfamiliar media in order to explore alternative methods and discover unconventional solutions. Bring an experimental mindset. Max. 5 This class is held in person with physical distancing and mask requirements Supply List Initial Supplies (for the first class): • Sketch pad, suitable for mixed media or Bristol Board pad, medium finish, approx. 14" x 17” • Sharpened drawing pencil (2H, H, or HB recommended) • Eraser • Magazines with interesting imagery • Scissors and/or X-acto knife Additional Supplies: Due to the nature of the subject matter, more supplies will be required after the first class. These supplies depend on individual mixed media direction.
