This year’s Summerfest 5K Road Race will take place Saturday, June 6 at 8 am and will feature 1,500+ runners winding their way through the streets of Virginia-Highland. A few reasons to sign up:

Join in the excitement of the 37th annual Virginia-Highland Summerfest . The festival is a nonprofit event with proceeds donated to neighborhood projects. This year, we are focusing on projects that benefit the environment, and contribute to sustainability in our community. Stay tuned for more information about the projects this year’s race will fund!
Widely considered the best festival and neighborhood road race in the Atlanta area, Virginia-Highland Summerfest is the place to be on the first weekend in June every year.
Highlights of Summerfest include the Artist Market with over 200 national artists, live music, Kids Fest, great food (including a champagne brunch), and the 5K Road Race. Each year over 100,000 visitors attend Summerfest.
Event details and schedule
The race starts near the intersection of Virginia Avenue and Lanier Boulevard, one block east of N. Highland Avenue.

Race Starts at 8:00 AM :
Begin lining up at 7:30 with walkers and strollers to the rear, please.
Early packet pick-up :
5/30, 6/1 – 6/4, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm — Phidippides Ansley Mall
Friday, 6/5 - 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm- Virginia-Highland Church
Early packet pickup is strongly encouraged.
Race Day packet pickup is for out of town runners only, please.
Awards will be given to first, second, and third place by age group, and for overall and masters male and female winners.
