About this event
NOTE: Class skips February 28. This course will delve into advanced techniques in watercolor with a different theme for each session. This session’s theme is portraits. Because accurate and informed drawing is essential to a successful of any painting of a portrait, this course will include an extensive review of structure and anatomy. Once we establish a solid foundation, we will then apply different techniques, including layering and wet-in-wet techniques, to creating portraits in watercolor. This class will work primarily from from reference photos, although we may leave open the possibility of a live model for several of the later classes.
