FUSED GLASS AND CIRCLE FUN/ Martha DownerThursdays from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM
April 10 - May 8*NO CLASS 4/174 weeks
Class Fee: $150
We will explore amazing options that are available to glass artists using circles. Topics to be discussed and demonstrated will be glass compatibility, glass cutting and utilization, designing on glass, and preparing the kiln shelf using Papyros paper release. We will also be discussing firing schedules and specific characteristics of various glass projects We will make 6 projects using fused glass techniques. This class doesn’t require previous experience. All abilities are welcome. Advanced students will do more complicated projects. Projects include coasters, jewelry, windchimes, and plates. *Basic supplies are provided. Participants may provide their own additional glass, providing that it is COE 90 and will be asked to purchase a Bullseye ruler and a couple round vessels. (Please always wear close-toed shoes.)
