Description
FIGURE DRAWING FROM A CLOTHED MODEL / Beth WachterMondays from 1-4 PM
Nov 4 - Dec 9 4 Weeks*NO CLASS 11/11 or 11/25
In this session our focus will be on drawing and understanding the human figure, working with a clothed model. Each class will begin with 10 gesture drawings from 1-5 minutes in length. That will be followed by 2-3 long poses. We will focus on understanding how the body (bones and muscle) beneath the clothing affects how fabric hangs and how including the pressure points created by the body make for a more convincing rendering. There will be a model fee collected during the first class for the entire session. The model fee averages $75 per person pending class size.
