Join us for the Purim Pacer 5K and Fun Run at Congregation Children of Israel in Athens, GA.
Purim is a Jewish holiday that celebrates the story of Esther, also called the Megillah (Meh-gill-uh). Jewish people usually attend synagogue—often in costume—to hear the story of Esther read aloud. Some dress up as characters from the story of Esther, and nowadays people dress up as any characters they like. We invite all participants to dress up in a costume for this run!
