We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Wednesday, July 28, 2021.
The focus of this one-hour hatha yoga class is to increase strength, flexibility and balance while simultaneously alleviating stress and fatigue. Additional benefits of regular yoga practice include an overall sense of well-being and an increase in self-awareness and self-acceptance. Participants must be aware of their own capabilities in order to participate safely. Ability to get up and down from the floor is encouraged. Each class will conclude with deep relaxation. This class will meet outdoors in Hunter Park next to Ashland Senior Center (1699 Homes Ave). Please bring your yoga mat. If outdoor conditions prevent safely meeting outdoors (such as rain or smoke), we will alert you by email by 8:15am on the morning of class and provide a Zoom link instead, as well as a link to the recorded class. Please note that online registration closes at noon the day before the start of a session.
