This program is a small group aquatics program focusing on the development of stroke, breathing skills and basic water safety toward improvement of each participant's confidence in an aquatic environment. Participants should be independent enough to work in a 1:4 instructor-to-student ratio. Please bring your swim goggles. APRC Adapted Programs are specifically designed for people with developmental, intellectual or physical disabilities. The programs focus on each individual's personal abilities and interests. Instructor Serena Hoke holds an MS in Adapted Physical Activity. As with most APRC programs, pre-registration is required. To register for any Adapted Program, please call the APRC office at 541.488.5340 (online registration is not available).
