Description
Rec & Ed Free Agent teams are an opportunity for adults in the Ann Arbor area to meet other sports-minded, active individuals. The Rec & Ed Corec Free Agent softball teams plays 10 games on Wednesday nights in either the Corec Recreation league (5 men and 5 women) or the "Corec 7 & 3"League (7 men and 3 women). League choice will be dictated by how many women sign up. IN 7 & 3, the women players play in the field as follows: one plays in the outfield, one plays in the infield, and one is either the catcher or the pitcher.
The fee to join the Free Agent Softball team is $75. Fees cover 10 games, game balls, umpire fees, and a team practice permit.(no T shirt this year)
12-14 players needed to form the team. If there are enough players to form a team, an organizational meeting will be held in early April. You will be notified by email.
