What's Included

The Massachusetts Soccer School College ID Clinics are an opportunity for high school-aged boys to be seen by college coaches, train in college environment at UMass, and learn the ins and outs of the recruiting process. Led by Coach O’Leary and other UMass staff coaches, the ID Clinics will put players into a competitive environment, with skill sessions and games that allow athletes the chance to make an impression, as well as classroom sessions that give players an insight into the recruiting process.

About This Organizer

Led by Fran O’Leary, the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at the University of Massachusetts, and taking place on the beautiful UMass campus in Amherst, the Massachusetts Soccer School gives young players the chance to have fun, improve as players, and prepare for the next level. With day camps for local boys and girls, young players of all ability levels will have the opportunity to work on their soccer skills, get great exercise and make new friends. At the College ID Clinics, high school age boys will be able to make an impression on Division I coaches, while learning more about the college recruiting process.

The atmosphere at all camps will be encouraging and supportive, while pushing players to work hard and improve their skills. O’Leary is a 25-year coaching veteran with experience in Division I, Division III, and Major League Soccer, and has set up and run successful and fun youth camps throughout the northeast. Assisting him will be other UMass coaches and players, as well as college coaches from throughout the region and beyond.
