Join 250 of your fellow runners and walkers in providing HOPE AND A PLAN to all pancreatic cancer patients. Spend a beautiful October morning running or walking along the peaceful trails (no busy road routes) of the Chattahoochee River at Gerrard Landing Park in Alpharetta, GA.
Registered participants get a great looking t-shirt, a purple drawstring backpack and other goodies! We'll also have a DJ to help us get pumped up before we start. This is going to be a super fun event that is totally family friendly! After the race, we will have a face painter and lawn games, along with special goody bags for our littlest runners, walkers and stroller riders! (Babies under one year of age attend for free.)
Parking is available in the main lot. There's indoor bathrooms and a great playground for kids.
The event is timed and medals are given to the top finishers in each age category.
Proceeds from Purple Parade will fund research and clinical trials, as well as provide critical support to patients and their families.
