The Swain School is a place where children - ages three (Preschool) through 8th grade - can be known and appreciated, and can experience a wide variety of opportunities, in the classroom and out.
Our well-trained faculty are experts in how to teach, so they can give each child what he or she needs, at any given moment in their development.
We work closely with families, communicating frequently about their children and life at the school. We encourage volunteering, and provide educational opportunities for the adults in our Swain families.
Our beautiful campus sits on 20 wooded acres in Salisbury Township, with plenty of outdoor areas for play and learning. Our facilities include The Imaginate Center (which houses our Makerspace program); state of the art tech spaces; dedicated facilities for music, theatre, and visual arts; a full-size gym/performing arts center; welcoming library; cafeteria and commons rooms; and numerous bright and cheerful classrooms.
Our community includes over 300 students who live in 20 area school districts. Most of the districts provide bus service for Swain students at no charge.
