The Little Theatre of Alexandria
600 Wolfe Street
---Instructor: John Waldron---A perfect class for any teen who is interested in honing their improvisational skills, whether they are an expert or novice. This class will teach the fine art of improvisation, from games and scenes to long form improvisation. Many of these games have been seen on television shows such as ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’, and improv troupes throughout the nation. Each week will focus on a different skill set such as creating a character, thinking about the environment you are creating, and listening to your scene partner. Many parents and students who have taken this class have said that improv has helped them with communication, decision making, working as a team, active listening, social interaction, and building confidence. The class will perform at the Student Showcase in March. Read instructor's bio at http://www.thelittletheatre.com.
