About This Activity

Global Health Partnership’s 2017 Safari Run will be held on Sunday, March 26th, 2017 at the North Campus Golf Course, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Sponsored by Bernalillo County and the Bosque Running Shop, the event benefits Global Health Partnerships (GHP), an Albuquerque based non-profit organization that provides medical care and humanitarian aid to the poor in rural Kenya with local community support. GHP operates with an emphasis on maternal and child health, child nutrition and aid for the most impoverished families.

The Safari Run will start with a free children’s running clinic led by Mbarak Hussein, an elite Kenyan runner who now coaches track at Sandia High School. Elite runners from Kenya and other countries will be participating in the run, supporting the work of GHP.

For more information, contact www.ghp-usa.org or find us on Facebook at Safari Run for Global Health or call Rifka at 505-350-5920.
