Global Health Partnership’s 2019 Safari Run will be held on Sunday, March 31st, 2019 at the North Campus Golf Course (2201 Tucker Ave NE 87131) beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Packet Pickup will be held at Sports Systems (6915 Montgomery Blvd NE, 87109) on Saturday, March 30th 2019 from 10:30am-4:00pm. Event day pack up is also available.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a $5 increase in price for race day registration.
The event benefits Global Health Partnerships (GHP), an Albuquerque based non-profit organization that provides medical care and humanitarian aid to the poor in rural Kenya, with local community support. GHP operates with an emphasis on maternal and child health, child nutrition and aid for the most impoverished families.
The Safari Run will start with a free children’s running clinic led by Kenyan runners. Elite runners from Kenya and other countries will be participating in the run, supporting the work of GHP.
Global Health Partnerships is Co-sponosoring this event with Sports Systems, Bernalillo County, and Jackrabbit Race Productions.

Event details and schedule
Events include a 1k Kid’s race, a 5-k fun run/walk and an 8-k race with the elite runners. All participants will receive a hand-carved safari animal from Kenya. African drummers will add to the fun. 100% of race proceeds go directly to medical projects in rural Kenya.
