She is currently the President of Friends of the Gaston Livery Stable, an Aiken County Historical Society member, and author of Recipes and Other Good Things Learned at the Aiken County Farmers Market and Aiken County Jeopardy I & II. Description: The class will provide a history of the Gaston Livery Stable, which was built in 1893 and is significant for its role in the city’s turn-of-the-century transportation industry.
