About this event
Practice cooking over a fire, using a crazy selection of ingredients! LES will provide: salt, pepper, cinnamon and other spices, onion, garlic, vegetables, orange juice, cooking utensils (bowls, dutch oven, pans, cutting board, stirring utensils, a tea kettle for if anyone forages plants for hot drinks) August's special item of the month: dutch oven cake for Kelly's birthday!! LES will provide ingredients for dutch oven cake (vegan and gf options), df cream cheese, coconut sugar September's and October's special item of the month will be announced closer to the time. you need to bring: your own krazy ingredients to contribute to cake or vegetable roasts (all vegetarian items please) cup for drinks plate and utensils water bottle weather-appropriate clothing knife for carving a roasting stick If you have the game, please bring it! if you have your own fire-starting kit you want to practice with (bowdrill or flint/steel) please bring it! We need at least 10 people to register for this program to run! Are siblings and parents invited? YES! Siblings 10+ may register and participate. Kids under 10 need a parent accompanying them. Parents who are hanging out and/or helping do not need to register. Parents who wish to participate in cooking and eating DO need to register :)
