6th CHASING JEFFERSON DAVIS MARATHON and HALF MARATHON

Join us Saturday, April 17th for the Chasing Jefferson Davis Marathon and Half Marathon. The point to point courses will be run on paved and dirt roads. The Full Marathon starts at the Abbeville Historic Gymnasium, 300 College St., Abbeville, GA 31001 and the Half Marathon starts at 1018 Salem Church Rd, Fitzgerald, GA. Both will end at Jefferson Davis Historic Site, 338 Jeff Davis Park Road, Irwinville, GA. Registration begins at 5:00 AM and the race will start with a cannon blast at 6:00 AM for the marathon and 6:30 AM for the half marathon. Course will be open for six hours.
The number of runners will be limited to the first 150 participants. Pre Registration is recommended. We don't want you to show up and not allowed to register on race day.

Early packet pickup and registration at Abbeville Historic Gymnasium on Friday 4/16 between 6PM and 8PM
Race day packet pickup and registration will begin at 5AM
Full Marathon starts at 6AM from the Abbeville Gym
Half Marathon starts at 6:30AM from1018 Salem Church Rd, Fitzgerald GA
Finish line is at Jefferson Davis Historic Site 338 Jeff Davis Park Rd, Irwinville GA
Full Marathon MUST BE COMPLETED IN 6 HOURS!
Marathon is USATF Certified #GA15012WC
Awards for Overall M & F, Masters M & F, 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over. Everyone who finishes the Marathon will get a commemorative medal. Registrations after April 1, 2021 and on race day will be given shirts while supplies last.
Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services. Results will be posted to www.ClassicRaceServices.com, www.Athlinks.com and www.Active.com
In case of rain, the races will go on unless deemed unsafe by local authorities or race directors. Sorry no Refunds. Please follow all state and local recommendations and rules for Covid-19 safety.
